Our Founder

Postulancy
The Postulancy is the period during which the candidate asks to embrace our life, with the intention of properly preparing herself for the Novitiate.
In this stage of formation, the young woman is called to develop a Franciscan spirituality, as well as her sensitivity to perceive the reality of the world, especially in attention to the poor, in human growth and in the availability to live in fraternity.
The spiritual life of a postulant is nourished by prayers, community celebrations and with the people of God, by attentive listening to the Word of God, through retreats and other Franciscan religious practices and by the community itself. The pastoral life of the postulants seeks participation in the concrete life of the people in communion with the evangelizing activities of the Fraternity itself.
The fraternity life of the young postulant prioritizes the joyful sharing of manual work, as an expression of service to the brothers, and of life itself, through fraternal dialogue between the postulants themselves and with the master directly responsible for their formation, the Master of the Postulancy . There is no shortage of expressions of leisure and spontaneity, such as the gratuitousness of one's own life donated by God, such as walks, recreation and social meetings with other young people from the same formative stage and sisters from the Institute.

Novitiate
The Novitiate, with which life at the Institute begins, is a more intense period of formation and aims to make the novices know and experience our way of life more deeply and, better evaluating the Lord's call, confirm their purposes and its suitability.
In other words, the Novitiate is an intense time of knowledge of Franciscan life, of experiencing fraternity, of study, prayer and work. The Novitiate period takes place over two years, one canonical year and the other apostolic year of experience in any house of the Institute.

Juniorate
Juniorate is the period during which training is completed to live the life of the Institute more fully and better fulfill its mission; Furthermore, the sisters prepare to make their Solemn Profession.
At this stage, in addition to deepening human and spiritual formation, the junior sister also begins to help with the mission of the Institute, taking on various activities
